Eighth Annual Retreat
2012's Retreat date: Jan. 26 - 29, 2012
The Original Free Will Baptist Sunday School Ministry sponsored the Eighth Annual Ministers' Wives and Widows Retreat at Cragmont Assembly, Black Mountain, North Carolina, Thursday, January 26 and ended with Sunday morning worship on January 29, 2012. This year's Bible study entitled, "The Verbs of God" by Margaret Feinberg was the topic of our study. The discussion sessions focused on, "Where is God when you need Him?". We experienced a wonderful weekend in which our ladies bonded with other women in a likeminded spirit.
We shoped, relaxed, and were even treated to pedicures and facials. We also made jewelry and each lady received a special goody bag to take home with them. If you were unable to go with us, we hope that you can make plans to attend next year's event. We encourage all woman's auxiliaries and/or churches to send their pastor's wife. The cost for this weekend is $150 inclusive.
Registrations for our 2013 event will be posted in Nov. of 2012. Transportation will be provided if needed. We are hoping to have a comfortable bus for travel.
If you are not already a member, we invite you to become a member of the Cinderella Sisters Support Group, but it is not necessary for you to attend the retreat. This is a group of minister's wives and widows who support each other in our endeavors to support our husbands in their work and also mentor new wives as they share in the Work of the Lord.
