Rains Crossroads Children's Sunday School Using VBS Approach
What do you do with Vacation Bible School literature after the week has ended? We decided to bring it back
to life and use it as our Sunday School curriculum for our younger students.
Vacation Bible School literature offers a variety of teaching tools not always found in traditional children's
Sunday School literature.
VBS literature contains five lessons. We used each lesson for a month of study. All the Sundays in a month
would include: activities, music, crafts, and puppet or drama about the Bible story.
As an application outreach project, the students made a homemade quilt and raised money for the Backpack
Buddies at Princeton Elementary School. Kids helping kids.
Kids respond to and enjoy a creative environment with theme decorations and activities.
